I grew up in Broken Arrow, OK. I had my first riding lesson when I was 7 years old and discovered that horses were definitely my main interest. I rode hunter/jumper through my teen years. I was blessed to have my own horse for 20 years, and have spent much time working for various barns and riding many different horses. I was even a member of the Tulsa Council Oaks Pony Club! Here I learned many different skills in horse care and horsemanship. While I enjoy riding, I also enjoy caring and bonding with these magnificent animals.

Right now, I am completely in love with New Hope’s herd of 11 horses and 1 mule. They are all so unique and teach me something new everyday. If you volunteer or ride at New Hope, I am sure to meet you. I am there almost every day. I am content when the horses are happy and they can keep me pretty busy!
