Therapeutic riding lessons at New Hope are tailored to each rider’s individual needs and abilities, and generally consist of grooming the horse, tacking up, arena riding, and trail riding.

Therapeutic Riding Sessions begin annually in mid-September and end in July. Hangin’ with Horses and Veteran’s sessions are scheduled as needed..

We charge $60 per lesson for our Therapeutic Riding program, $50 for Hangin’ with Horses and there is no fee for the veteran’s program. Our actual cost per lesson is over $300, we depend on donations and grants to cover the difference.

Weekly lessons are one hour long for therapeutic riding, 45 minutes for Hangin’ with Horses and roughly two hours for our veteran’s program.
