Cleo is a gentle Saddlebred-Friesian cross mare standing at 15.2 hands tall. She is a very sweet and curious girl who loves to work, and is sure to draw your eye with her vibrantly colorful patches and high-stepping trot. She carries her riders and accepts her horse leaders with confidence. She is content to teach beginner riders on a lead line, but has the skills to teach advanced independent riders. She has a strong background in Dressage, and therefore prefers English riding to Western. 

Cleo is polite and attentive and very much enjoys the company of her paddock mate, Flash. At turnout time she loves to stretch her legs and follow the Equine Care Manager around to see if any goodies are available. She loves to be brushed and groomed, as she is a lady. And this beautiful lady has settled in with the herd and made herself at home, much to the enjoyment of staff and volunteers here at New Hope.
