It is once again time for the New Hope Sporting Clay Shoot Fundraiser, this year on Saturday, April 19.
But first, I would like to apologize for the lack of posts recently. I take my writing and volunteering seriously. Lately, however, I’ve been taking care of our grandson, Dennis Ray, when his mother, Julia, is working.
Back to the clay shoot. The day begins with everyone gathering at Fossil Pointe Sporting Grounds for registration and conversation. The electricity in the air is palpable as everyone shares their joy at participating in one of their favorite sports and helping out a good cause at the same time. There is also time to look at the live auction items for the auction after lunch.
