Both the independent drill team and the horse led drill team from New Hope won first place and each rider won a buckle at Chisholm Challenge. Kudos to Susan for coming up with winning routines each year. The riders of both teams worked together – seamlessly at times, it seems – to perform the routine to music.

So much so that the judges commended the riders on the tightness of their routines. The pictures are of the moves that the judges specifically mentioned. Susan read the comments to the group at the award party (post to come soon).

And now for the horse led drill team. Thanks also go to the horse leaders and side walkers who helped make the routine the success it was.
