New Hope has had the good fortune to be featured on two local podcasts. Sharla and Dave spoke to Nicole Osei on the WBAP Impact Texas podcast on July 16. They discussed the history and purpose of New Hope with insights that had shown themselves along the way.
But the highlight of the podcast was when Nicole talked to Katherine, a New Hope rider since 2013. Katherine, who was shy and uncomfortable talking to people when she began riding at New Hope. And here she is talking succinctly about her time at New Hope. Take it from a life-long stutterer, that’s tremendous progress.
Then Sharla and board member, Bart Lesniewicz, talked to Chris Arnold on July 25 on 105.3 The Fan podcast, with the primary subject, following the history of New Hope, being the Horses Helping Heroes program.
Enjoy the podcasts. They are simply delightful. Have some Kleenex handy for when you hear about the New Hope success stories. You will also smile broadly at the determination with which the staff, board members and volunteers go about helping the riders and taking care of the horses and the grounds.
