I have had the good fortune to be at both of the previous Galas and I would like to share with you what it’s like. So, if you are just thinking about it, I hope to convince you that you will miss a night of tremendous fun amid the satisfaction of giving to a good cause with like-minded souls if you don’t get your ticket.
The evening begins with the silent auction, cocktails, camaraderie and a chosen number of horses from the New Hope herd. The electricity in the air is palpable and continues into the banquet room for the seated buffet dinner. I’ve never used that term, but there are choices and it’s definitely all you can eat – simply because it’s all you can eat, particularly with the excitement, conversation, and activities going on.

Scott Murray is a practiced and accomplished Emcee. He’s had years of experience in speaking occasions following his career as a tv newsman. And he is very personable. Mike Trent is an entertaining auctioneer with capable assistants. It’s not just an auction, it’s a game. A game with philanthropic overtones thrown in with an air of excitement and a large smattering of humor.
This year will bring new fundraising opportunities. One will be the the whiskey pull, which is actually a whiskey ring toss, reminiscent of the staple game of the State Fair Midway. A table of whiskey bottles will be the object of the ring toss. [If you would like to contribute a bottle of whiskey, contact someone here.]

There will also be a surprise fundraising activity this year that you will not want to miss.
So what is holding you back from buying a ticket? You know you want to – you certainly don’t want to miss out on all that fun. For a good cause, no less. Matter of fact, why not do it now while you’re thinking about it?
Ride on and ride for hope.
