Charla Ann Story, MEd., is PATH Intl certified as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Mentor, and Equine Services for Heroes Instructor. She also is a CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) Master Instructor and Certifier. Charla’s 20+ years of experience include Founding/Directing C-Bar Horsemanship Therapeutic Riding Center in Oklahoma, and teaching natural horsemanship ground and riding skills, Outdoor Education, and First Aid/CPR certification at Oklahoma Baptist University. After moving to Texas with her husband Steven, Charla taught and served at several North Texas therapeutic horseback riding centers, served on staff at CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association), as well as provided private horseback riding instruction.
Charla is an educator at heart and brings biblical principles such as inspiration, encouragement, and understanding God’s design and gifting to her work with volunteers, riders, and equines.
Charla serves as a Christian educator part time at Crossing Heritage Academy in Fort Worth, and will be serving New Hope in an education and instruction capacity. Charla is excited to join the New Hope team and wants to make a difference in the lives of others one step at a time.
